Shrewsbury Town Football Fixtures for March 2019

After a difficult month with the FA Cup fourth-round replay loss against Wolves, Shrewsbury Town is still bumping around the relegation zone. And worse still, no televised Town matches.

At the time of writing town face 6th position Doncaster at home without suspended midfielder Ollie Norburn who last week had secured a win against Peterborough so it will be a tough match. But as the season draws to a close Shrewsbury has a few golden matches to look forward to with league bottom AFC Wimbledon and relegation zone Rochdale on the 2nd and 9th March 2019 respectively.

Things look tougher for Shrewsbury Town on the 12th March as they play Plymouth Argyle, followed by Wycombe on the 16th. Hopefully, if Wycombe keeps up their run of poor form, Shrewsbury can secure a win. Plymouth looks a tougher opponent, trouncing Rochdale the other week.

Fortunately, Town’s defence is saving them from the bottom, but they need to score more goals, fast, especially when playing Portsmouth away on the 23rd March. No doubt, mid-table Southend will be a welcome opponent at the end of the month (30th March).

Even if it goes to the dogs, April looks to be an interesting month as Shrewsbury Town face many relegation zone dwellers.

Liverpool Fixtures for March

February has been a flat month for Liverpool with only one win so far this month and holding onto the top position with the skin of their teeth.

The first match of the month sees Liverpool face local rivals Everton and although the Reds have the upper hand they are playing away, and local derbies can be unpredictable. We’ll be showing this match on our screens from 4.15pm on Sunday 3rd March.

The next week will test the Reds mettle as they play three games in one week, the two Premier League matches which we’ll be showing on big screens alongside the Six Nations Rugby tournament. Burnley FC (Sunday 10th March at 12pm) and Fulham (Sunday 17th March at 2.15pm) will be important matches for Liverpool’s title campaign as they should be easy wins.

Then contrast that with a 2nd round Champions League Round of 16 matches against Bayern in which the Reds aren’t favoured. Klopp is no doubt going to feel the pressure as he clings onto both title opportunities. This match will be televised but may clash with Albert’s Songwriters Showcase which begins at 8.30pm.

The last game in the month Liverpool face 3rd place Tottenham which will be a hell of a game by all accounts, showing on our screens from 4.30pm on Sunday 31st March 2019.

Wolves Fixtures for March

Now in 8th position with 40 points, Wolves will need a lot of good luck to progress into the top six of the Premier League. Even so, they’re putting up a solid fight having not lost a game in the last eight matches including that win against Shrewsbury that we’d like to forget about, but still, it’s great to have a team from the Midlands in the final four of the FA Cup.

The first of the football fixtures for Wolves in March is against league bottom Cardiff City which should be an easy win. That’s followed by a televised match against Chelsea on Sunday 10th March at 2.05pm. We’re looking forward to that one as it could dictate the final six.

Over the St Patrick’s Day weekend Wolverhampton Wanderers wonder if they’ll wind up winning, going through to the FA Cup final. That will be showing on our screens from 19:55 on Saturday 16th March 2019.

I’m sure they’ll be more than happy to play Burnley FC on the 30th.
