Albert for one wants to give the middle finger to cancer and he sees no better way to support the cause than to work alongside the excellent Chords Crush Cancer organisation who are now in their fourth year.
Over Friday 25th and Saturday 26th January 2019 we’ll be collecting with Chords Crush Cancer in support of the Lingen Davies Cancer Fund.
To date, Mark Fielden, the organiser of Chords Crush Cancer has raised £3380.37 for the Lingen Davies Cancer Fund. If you’ve not heard of the charity, then they are committed to supporting cancer services for the People of Shropshire, Telford and Mid Wales. Started in 1979 by Bernard Lingen, then Mayor of Shrewsbury and local accountant Frank Davies, the charity has contributed around £18 million in today’s prices to improve cancer services in the local area.
So come down, enjoy some of the finest music, hand selected by our Albert, and most of all, dig deep.
